This work of a Dutch master had been all but completely ignored during his lifetime and for many years after. Prized for the skills with which effect light and color, seeds are planted for a metamorphosis, "poetic in the secret garden";. "The Girl with Something Extra" was rediscovered in the 80's, and is considered a real "work of art". A Freak'in masterpiece, rightfully called "D'butch Lolita" even "Shady Bitch" by ungrateful critics: Many believe that the girl in this painting is the artist herself...
